If you're trying to send a route I think your best bet will be to convert it to a number of track logs each one with no more than pointsthen load it into MapSource and send them to the GPS that way. I just thought of this. If your friend has split a route into multiple routes it may be he has already converted them into track logs for you. Don't think you need to do any special formatting of the card. No, but I wanna be.

You can't transfer any files diectly to the card on a 60CSx either. This worked for me earlier today. The newer units can take more points. Is there something you have to do to access the data card specifically? 60fsx
He says it told him they were truncated but he didn't know what that meant and figured it was ok Where are you getting those GPS files from? I may be wrong but don't think you can send an entire GPX file to the 60 series the way you can with the newer 62 series. Find More Posts by mulveyr.
I just saved it to the unit and all is well. I downloaded a program called Easy GPS and then upgraded to their premium service 3-day free trialwhich allowed me to simplify the tracks get them below points and then send them to my unit.
